Why before what
Each idea opens with the problem it solves. Only then does it give the rule, the mechanism, and the limit where the rule stops holding.
OFFLINE SCIENCE ACADEMY
Gnosis teaches mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, robotics and game coding from no assumed knowledge. Every lesson explains why an idea exists before it asks you to use it, and every question can be worked out rather than recalled.
Runs entirely on your device. No account, no internet lesson service.
WHY THIS EXISTS
Most science teaching asks people to remember results. When the result is forgotten, nothing is left. Gnosis is built the other way around: it teaches the relationship first, so that a forgotten fact can be rebuilt from something you still understand.
HOW IT TEACHES
Each idea opens with the problem it solves. Only then does it give the rule, the mechanism, and the limit where the rule stops holding.
Three levels of help: a nudge, then the reasoning, then a concrete picture. The last one still leaves the final step to you, because that step is the learning.
Pausing costs nothing. Asking for help costs nothing. The system records what you understood, not how fast you moved.
A question tells you why the right answer is right and why the tempting wrong one fails, so a mistake teaches something rather than just scoring zero.
WHO IT IS FOR
Untimed by design, with the same idea offered as a plain explanation, a deeper one, and a wider one. Nobody is rushed past the rung they are standing on.
Starts from counting and reaches university material without ever assuming you remember school. There is no placement test to fail.
Five subjects, from first arithmetic to robotics and game engines, with the same calm structure throughout.
PRIVACY BY CONSTRUCTION
This is not a policy choice that could be reversed later. The application has no server to talk to and no account to create.
CHECKED, NOT ASSUMED
The curriculum was put through an independent fact audit in which each question was worked out from scratch before its answer key was read. Errors found this way were corrected and the corrections recorded.
The Mathematics campaign is free to try, in English or Dutch, with no account.
